Scripture: John 9:18–34
Scripture Summary:
The religious authorities continue questioning the man and even bring in his parents. Yet the more they challenge him, the clearer his conviction becomes. He knows that something extraordinary has happened through Jesus.
Devotional:
Sometimes, when light appears, people resist it. Truth can make others uncomfortable. The man in this story refuses to back down, even when pressured by those with authority. Faith sometimes requires quiet courage, the courage to hold onto what we know to be true about God’s goodness and grace, even when others question it.
Prayer:
God, strengthen my faith so that I may stand in your truth with humility and courage. Amen
